Kilka lat temu, podczas jednej z wystaw, pojawiła się możliwość dołączenia do międzynarodowego projektu Leporello – A journey not only around the world organizowanego przez Bohemia Patchwork Club Prague. To była krótka, serdeczna wzmianka, która z czasem przerodziła się w piękną twórczą przygodę. Dziś mogę wreszcie pokazać Wam efekt tej podróży.

A few years ago, during one of the exhibitions, I had the opportunity to join the international project Leporello – A journey not only around the world, organized by the Bohemia Patchwork Club Prague. It was a short, warm exchange that gradually turned into a beautiful creative adventure. Today, I can finally share the result of that journey with you.

Vor einigen Jahren ergab sich während einer Ausstellung die Möglichkeit, am internationalen Projekt Leporello – A journey not only around the world teilzunehmen, organisiert vom Bohemia Patchwork Club Prague. Es war ein kurzer, herzlicher Moment, der sich nach und nach in ein wunderbares kreatives Abenteuer verwandelte. Heute kann ich Euch endlich das Ergebnis dieser Reise zeigen.

Do mojego Leporello stworzyłam serię ptaszków, które stały się przewodnikami tej tekstylnej podróży. Każdy z nich jest inny, każdy niesie własny rytm, kolor i charakter. To małe, fantastyczne stworzenia, cudownie kolorowe, które wyglądają, jakby właśnie szykowały się do lotu „dookoła świata”😉

For my Leporello, I created a series of little birds that became the guides of this textile voyage. Each one is different, each carries its own rhythm, color, and character. These small, fantastical creatures—wonderfully colorful—look as if they are just about to take off “around the world.” 😉

Für mein Leporello habe ich eine Serie kleiner Vögel geschaffen, die zu Führern dieser textilen Reise wurden. Jeder von ihnen ist anders, jeder trägt seinen eigenen Rhythmus, seine Farben und seinen Charakter. Diese kleinen, fantastischen Wesen – herrlich bunt – sehen aus, als würden sie sich gerade auf ihren Flug „rund um die Welt“ vorbereiten. 😉

W pracy wykorzystałam kolorowe tkaniny o różnych fakturach, wielokolorowe nici, które dodają życia i ruchu, koraliki, wprowadzające błysk i delikatne akcenty oraz zastosowałam szycie ręczne i maszynowe, przeplatające się jak ścieżki podróżników.

In my work, I used colorful fabrics of various textures, multicolored threads that add life and movement, beads that bring sparkle and delicate accents, and both hand and machine stitching intertwining like the paths of travelers.

In meiner Arbeit verwendete ich bunte Stoffe mit verschiedenen Strukturen, mehrfarbige Garne, die Leben und Bewegung verleihen, Perlen, die Glanz und feine Akzente setzen, sowie Hand- und Maschinenstiche, die sich wie die Wege von Reisenden miteinander verweben.

Każdy ptaszek powstawał osobno, ale razem tworzą spójną, radosną kompozycję — jak strony tekstylnej książki, która opowiada o odkrywaniu świata, o lekkości, o wolności i o kolorach, które spotykamy po drodze.

Each bird was created individually, but together they form a cohesive, joyful composition—like the pages of a textile book that tells a story about discovering the world, about lightness, freedom, and the colors we encounter along the way.

Jeder Vogel entstand einzeln, doch zusammen bilden sie eine stimmige, fröhliche Komposition – wie die Seiten eines textilen Buches, das von der Entdeckung der Welt erzählt, von Leichtigkeit, Freiheit und den Farben, die uns unterwegs begegnen.

Całość nazwałam „Dookoła świata”, bo właśnie tak się czułam, pracując nad tym projektem: jakbym odbywała podróż, w której każdy etap przynosi coś nowego. Nie tylko w sensie geograficznym, ale też twórczym — odkrywałam nowe połączenia tkanin, nowe kolory, nowe pomysły.

I titled the piece “Around the World”, because that is exactly how I felt while working on it: as if I were on a journey where every stage brought something new. Not only in the geographical sense, but also creatively—discovering new fabric combinations, new colors, new ideas.

Das gesamte Werk nannte ich „Rund um die Welt“, denn genau so fühlte ich mich während der Arbeit: als wäre ich auf einer Reise, bei der jeder Abschnitt etwas Neues bringt. Nicht nur geografisch, sondern auch kreativ – neue Stoffkombinationen, neue Farben, neue Ideen.

Najpiękniejszym momentem było zobaczenie mojego Leporello na wystawie Brno Patchwork Meeting 2026. Wśród prac z Austrii, Niemiec, Włoch i Czech — moja własna opowieść, zszyta z emocji, wspomnień i tkanin. To był moment ogromnej radości i wzruszenia. Chwila, w której poczułam, że ta mała wzmianka sprzed lat naprawdę przerodziła się w coś wyjątkowego.

The most beautiful moment was seeing my Leporello exhibited at Brno Patchwork Meeting 2026. Among works from Austria, Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic—there was my own story, stitched from emotions, memories, and fabrics. It was a moment of great joy and deep emotion. A moment when I felt that the small mention from years ago truly transformed into something exceptional.

Der schönste Moment war, mein Leporello auf der Ausstellung Brno Patchwork Meeting 2026 zu sehen. Zwischen Arbeiten aus Österreich, Deutschland, Italien und Tschechien – meine eigene Geschichte, zusammengenäht aus Emotionen, Erinnerungen und Stoffen. Es war ein Moment großer Freude und tiefen Gefühls. Ein Augenblick, in dem ich spürte, dass die kleine Erwähnung von damals wirklich zu etwas Besonderem geworden war.

Ten projekt łączy w sobie wszystko, co kocham: kolor, fantazję, rękodzieło, wolność tworzenia i spotkania z ludźmi, którzy patrzą na świat przez pryzmat sztuki. Pokazuje, że nawet krótkie zaproszenie może otworzyć drzwi do pięknej historii. Bo pozwolił mi stworzyć własną, tekstylną podróż — lekką, barwną i pełną ptasiego śpiewu.

This project brings together everything I love: color, fantasy, craftsmanship, the freedom of creating, and meeting people who see the world through the lens of art. It shows that even a brief invitation can open the door to a beautiful story. And it allowed me to create my own textile journey—light, colorful, and full of birdsong.

Dieses Projekt vereint alles, was ich liebe: Farbe, Fantasie, Handarbeit, die Freiheit des Schaffens und Begegnungen mit Menschen, die die Welt durch die Kunst betrachten. Es zeigt, dass selbst eine kurze Einladung Türen zu einer wunderschönen Geschichte öffnen kann. Und es ermöglichte mir, meine eigene textile Reise zu erschaffen – leicht, farbenfroh und voller Vogelgesang.
