W piątek czwartego sierpnia miałam ogromną przyjemność uczestniczyć w finisażu wystawy „Historia” węgierskiej malarki Dòri Kecskemèti, który odbył się w Galerii Artystycznej pod Szpakiem ST “Sztukowisko”w Przemyślu. To było jedno z tych spotkań, które od pierwszej chwili otulają człowieka atmosferą piękna, spokoju i twórczej energii. W przestrzeni galerii unosiła się lekka, przyjazna aura — taka, w której chce się zostać dłużej, rozmawiać, patrzeć, chłonąć.

On Friday, August 4th, I had the great pleasure of attending the finissage of the exhibition “Historia” by Hungarian painter Dòri Kecskemèti, held at the Artistic Gallery under the Starling ST “Sztukowisko” in Przemyśl. It was one of those encounters that from the very first moment wrap you in an atmosphere of beauty, calm, and creative energy. A gentle, welcoming aura filled the gallery — the kind that makes you want to stay longer, talk, look, and absorb.

Am Freitag, dem 4. August, hatte ich die große Freude, an der Finissage der Ausstellung „Historia“ der ungarischen Malerin Dòri Kecskemèti teilzunehmen, die in der Kunstgalerie unter dem Star ST „Sztukowisko“ in Przemyśl stattfand. Es war eine jener Begegnungen, die einen vom ersten Moment an in eine Atmosphäre von Schönheit, Ruhe und kreativer Energie einhüllen. Ein sanfter, freundlicher Zauber erfüllte den Raum — einer, der einen dazu einlädt, länger zu bleiben, zu sprechen, zu schauen und zu genießen.

Prace Dòri były zachwycające. Pełne emocji, subtelnych napięć, miękkich przejść kolorystycznych i tej szczególnej wrażliwości, która sprawia, że obraz nie tylko się ogląda — on przemawia. Każde płótno miało swój własny rytm, własną historię, własny oddech. To malarstwo, które nie narzuca się, ale zaprasza. I kiedy już zaprosi, trudno się od niego oderwać.

Dòri’s works were breathtaking. Full of emotion, subtle tension, soft colour transitions, and that particular sensitivity that makes a painting not only something you look at — it speaks. Each canvas had its own rhythm, its own story, its own breath. This is painting that doesn’t impose itself, but invites you in. And once it invites you, it’s hard to walk away.

Die Werke von Dòri waren überwältigend. Voller Emotionen, feiner Spannungen, weicher Farbverläufe und dieser besonderen Sensibilität, die ein Bild nicht nur sichtbar macht — es spricht. Jede Leinwand hatte ihren eigenen Rhythmus, ihre eigene Geschichte, ihren eigenen Atem. Das ist Malerei, die sich nicht aufdrängt, sondern einlädt. Und wenn sie einen einmal einlädt, fällt es schwer, sich zu lösen.

Miałam też ogromną radość poznać samą artystkę. Dòri okazała się osobą niezwykle ciepłą, otwartą i pełną pasji.
I wydarzyło się coś, co wciąż wywołuje we mnie miękkie drżenie serca: otrzymałam od niej pozwolenie na stworzenie art quiltu inspirowanego jedną z jej prac.
To obraz, który przemówił do mnie najmocniej: „Nigdzie Cię nie znajdę”.
Gdy tylko na niego spojrzałam, poczułam to charakterystyczne, wewnętrzne „kliknięcie” — ten moment, kiedy wiesz, że dzieło zostanie z Tobą na długo. Że chcesz je przełożyć na własny język, własną technikę, własną tkaninę.
Jestem ogromnie wdzięczna za tę możliwość i już czuję, że będzie to wyjątkowy projekt.

I also had the great joy of meeting the artist herself. Dòri turned out to be an incredibly warm, open, and passionate person. And something happened that still sends a soft shiver through my heart: I received her permission to create an art quilt inspired by one of her works.The piece that spoke to me the most was: “I Will Not Find You Anywhere.” The moment I saw it, I felt that characteristic inner “click” — the moment when you know a work will stay with you for a long time. That you want to translate it into your own language, your own technique, your own fabric. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and I already feel that it will be a very special project.

Ich hatte auch die große Freude, die Künstlerin persönlich kennenzulernen. Dòri erwies sich als unglaublich warmherzige, offene und leidenschaftliche Person. Und es geschah etwas, das in mir immer noch ein sanftes Herzklopfen auslöst: Ich erhielt ihre Erlaubnis, ein Art Quilt zu schaffen, inspiriert von einem ihrer Werke. Das Bild, das am stärksten zu mir sprach, war: „Ich werde dich nirgends finden.“ Als ich es sah, spürte ich dieses charakteristische innere „Klicken“ — den Moment, in dem man weiß, dass ein Werk lange bei einem bleiben wird. Dass man es in die eigene Sprache, die eigene Technik, den eigenen Stoff übersetzen möchte. Ich bin zutiefst dankbar für diese Möglichkeit und spüre bereits, dass dies ein ganz besonderes Projekt wird.

Dòri Kecskemèti to węgierska malarka, której twórczość koncentruje się na emocjach, relacjach i subtelnych stanach wewnętrznych. Jej prace często balansują między figuracją a abstrakcją, tworząc przestrzeń pełną niedopowiedzeń, miękkich gestów i intymnych historii.
To sztuka, która nie krzyczy — ona szepcze. I właśnie dlatego tak mocno trafia do odbiorcy.

Finisaż „Historii” był dla mnie nie tylko spotkaniem z pięknym malarstwem, ale też z człowiekiem, który tworzy z serca. Atmosfera, rozmowy, obrazy — wszystko złożyło się na wieczór, który zostanie ze mną na długo.

The finissage of “Historia” was not only a meeting with beautiful painting, but also with a person who creates from the heart. The atmosphere, the conversations, the artworks — everything came together into an evening that will stay with me for a long time.

Die Finissage von „Historia“ war für mich nicht nur eine Begegnung mit wunderschöner Malerei, sondern auch mit einem Menschen, der aus dem Herzen heraus schafft. Die Atmosphäre, die Gespräche, die Bilder — alles fügte sich zu einem Abend, der lange in mir nachklingen wird.

A teraz… czas na mój własny dialog z obrazem „Nigdzie Cię nie znajdę”. Już czuję, że będzie to podróż niezwykła.

And now… it’s time for my own dialogue with the painting “I Will Not Find You Anywhere.” I already feel that this will be an extraordinary journey.

Und jetzt… beginnt mein eigener Dialog mit dem Bild „Ich werde dich nirgends finden.“ Ich spüre bereits, dass dies eine außergewöhnliche Reise wird.
