Today I wanted to share my experience with you from the course on raw-edge applique that I led for my colleagues from “Patchwork Małopolski”.
It was my first time as an instructor, and I must admit it wasn’t easy. I’ve always been afraid of speaking in front of people and showing them how to do something. But I decided to try and overcome my fear. I was encouraged by my husband and my friends who were very eager to learn this technique. They were very patient and understanding, which helped me a lot. I didn’t feel constrained or stressed. Well, maybe a little at first, but then it went smoothly.
There was a lot of laughter and fun. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to finish the entire project during the course. Each of them had to take their application home and finish it there. I hope they didn’t have any problems with that.
I’m looking forward to the second part of the course, which is quilting. I hope we’ll be able to admire your beautiful work and show it off on the blog. Thank you very much for participating in the course and for your support. It was a pleasure teaching you and learning from you. See you soon!
