The process of creating an art quilt using the OBW method begins with selecting the right panel. Not every panel is suitable for this technique, and the creator’s intuition plays a key role here. After choosing a panel, or in my case creating it, the fabric is cut and sewn in such a way as to form hexagons, which are then thoughtfully arranged to create the final quilt pattern. Quilting adds definition to the design and highlights its qualities. Beads, on the other hand, become an additional decoration that attracts the eye.
