Christmas, Christmas – and the holidays are already over. The Christmas Star did a wonderful job. My dream gift has arrived — a new computer. For now we’re still getting used to each other, slowly… but that’s not what I wanted to write about.
Some time ago I visited the artist Joanna Golachowska in Warsaw, who creates beautiful knitted and crocheted pieces.
I had the chance to admire a huge collection of stunning shawls and garments. It was truly extraordinary.
I was captivated by the intricate, delicate stitches in her work. You simply cannot describe it — you have to see it. It’s a pity that Joanna doesn’t show her creations publicly. I encouraged her to create a website where everyone could enjoy her art.
I managed to take a few photos so that you too can delight in these beautiful pieces.
And since we won’t see each other until after the New Year, I want to share my wishes with you:
“The old year slowly fades away,
the moment of the New Year is approaching.
But great dreams remain —
may they simply come true for you.”
Happy New Year!
