Overdue projects

A few weeks ago, my friend Sylwia gave me two tops to quilt.

I was planning to quilt them quickly and get to work on my screen, but as the folk wisdom says, “Man makes plans, and God crosses them.” But “that which is delayed, does not run away.”

It’s time for quilting. First piece to land on my Longarm is a dog, a basset hound to be exact.

He has a tiny, delicate fur coat. The quilting process went nicely, but with no emotions.

Next, a beautiful saber-toothed tiger jumped in. My favorite. Made by Sylwia 2, per my request. It is amazing.

I had much more fun working on this piece, and I became a master at replacing bobbins.

And here you can see the back of the piece.

That’s it for this week. Maybe next week I will finally be able to show some progress on my screen.

Keep your fingers crossed.
