Hi, it is me again, Sylwia 2. Sylwia 1’s sewing studio is still under renovation, and we all know that renovations never end on their promised deadline.
As you know, recently I have been working on a series of projects, using “Painting by Numbers” templates. For people like me with limited talent and imagination, this method is very effective.
Here is my method: I search for an image on Pinterest that I really like, and I email it to the nearest printing shop. I ask them for two colored print outs in a specific size that suits what I need.
I put one of the prints on my illuminated table (made by my husband of course) and I secure down with some tape to keep it from moving. I then put the background fabric on it, which must be secured as well. I put the second print right next to it and the fun begins.

The main advantage of this web is that it sticks to the background fabric very lightly. I can arrange the whole image and, if I need to make some corrections, it peels off very easily. When I am 100 % positive that I have achieved my goal, then it is time for the final ironing. I always press through baking paper. When working with fusible web there is one important rule to follow – “limited trust.” There is always a chance that the fusible web will leave some residue on the iron, and it is easy to ruin the project.
