Stitching slow stories...

Something old and something new.

Something old and something new.

Something old.

It finished quilting and binding.

The triptych is ready. It looks amazing. I will call it “The cut-out”

The quilting is not perfect, but my arm still hurts. To bad it does not matter.

Something new.

This time this is One Block Wonder. I found l lovely panels on internet, I bought them, and the fun begun. And I had a little helper assist with the cutting.

It is a professional.

Right after cutting and sewing hexagons I had to organize them. This time I had no one to help.

It started to come out pretty good.

The next steps were stitching, quilting and binding.

It seemed that it would be finished but not this time.

In my dreams I pictured my quilted patchworks framed. I wanted them to look like real paintings.

So, I ran to the hardware store and got some wood and politely asked my husband for help. The saw went to work.

Next step was to assemble by gluing and screwing.

And now the frames are ready.

Now I wrapped double sided tape around the frame and stretched the quilt on. And my painting is ready.

I love the way it looks.

My only regret is that the panels are not in the same size. While I was not paying attention, one of my bunnies managed to jump on the shelf where the cut panels were laying and decided that they were too large. She started to pull some threats. To bad.

Magic of the night.

Despite the mishap I still think they look amazing.
