As every year, a major European event took place in Birmingham, related to patchworks and quilts “FESTIVAL OF QUILTS”. The agenda included 14 categories in which you could report you work.
I choose the traditional quilts category. I got high marks but did not win any prize.
Every year (I think so because it is my first time in Birmingham) in every category the judges choose a quilt as the one they like the most. This time the plaque appeared at my work.
Maybe I did not get any prize but somehow my work was awarded and appreciated. That gave me so much joy. Thank you very much.
