The March trip to ULRA began magically, though surprisingly. As I headed to school in the afternoon, I was greeted by a stunning rainbow – as if nature itself wanted to remind me of its unpredictable and captivating charm. However, it didn’t take long before gently falling snow surprised me as a farewell, as if it wanted to add a touch of white to the colorful start of the day.

At school, I continued my work on the icon of Jesus. This process requires not only focus but also inner silence and reflection. Every brushstroke reminds me that art is not just an image, but also the depth we wish to convey to the viewer. The icon is slowly taking shape, and I am getting closer to fully completing it.
I couldn’t forget about my latest linocut – a kitten, which, to my delight, garnered a lot of attention and admiration. Creating this linocut was a pleasure, and the final effect – a small cat with expressive lines – brings me great satisfaction. It’s a gentle reminder that simple things often bring the greatest joy.

Every day in ULRA brings new inspirations, and the contrasts – rainbow and snow – are just one of the many examples of how life can be full of surprises.
I’m not sure if I’ll manage to write anything for next week. If not, I hope my friend Sylwia will step in for me.
