A new lamp now hangs in my studio—one that not only brightens the space but also reminds me that even with a leg in a brace, it’s possible to create something beautiful. I made it from plexiglass, a material full of creative potential. I painted a design on its surface, giving it instant character. The pattern was purchased from the talented Jekaterina Matwiejewa, whose style has long inspired me.
Painting wasn’t easy—limited mobility meant every brushstroke required patience and focus. But that’s exactly what made this lamp more than just a functional object. It’s a symbol of persistence and passion.
Finally, my husband—my irreplaceable helper in home projects—hung it in my studio. Now, when I turn it on, I feel proud and joyful. The light from this lamp brightens not only the room but also my thoughts and ideas.
