I am only four days away, until I can take off my brace. I’m counting down with a smile, because each day brings me closer to freedom of movement and the full flow of creative work. Slowly, I’m returning to sewing — to my world of textures, colors, and threads. To what brings me peace, focus, and joy. My studio is waiting for me again: the table, the sewing machine, and my old design wall — where I arrange blocks like chapters of a story.
For now, I do everything by sitting. My arms ache from using crutches, so I decided to prioritize comfort: I spotted a rolling workshop stool at Lidl. And I must say — it’s a small piece of furniture with big power! Mobile, comfortable, and it lets me glide between projects as if it were dancing with me across the studio.

The second is a piece I sewed back in 2022 for the second edition of the “closed in a suitcase” exhibition called COLORS. Now I’m adding new embellishments, because every fabric can tell more than one story.

I’m coming back. Slowly, with heart full of gratitude and a head full of ideas.
