I have finally been able to make progress on my new challenge project, which I wrote about here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t have a name for this quilt yet, but I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll think of something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the pieces have already been prepared and are just waiting to be sewn. But to do that, first I had to quilt the bottom of my quilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this purpose, I used a fabric that I had previously hand dyed. I made myself two shades. I was still<\/em> unsure whether I wanted a lighter or darker color as the background of my project.<\/p>\n\n\n

When the fabric had finally been selected, I started quiting.<\/p>\n\n\n

Unfortunately, during quilting I ran out of thread, on Friday night. I had to wait whole weekend for the package to be delivered to my door.<\/p>\n\n\n

When I start to quilt, I become so absorbed in the work that I do not like to stop. Waiting on the thread,<\/em> I paced back and forth not knowing what to do with myself. I miss it the work. Is there something wrong<\/em> with me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My thread was delivered. The work resumed and my background was quilted.<\/p>\n\n\n

Now, I just have to sew all the pieces by hand and the quilt will be ready.<\/p>\n\n\n
