Finally, I started to work on the second screen. I am very glad. Unfortunately, the progress is not that impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am done with the first panel (it is not quilted yet) I and started working on the second one.<\/p>\n\n\n

I was hoping to have much more progress by now but my rabbit, Pimpus, fell ill.<\/p>\n\n\n

Rabbits are very delicate creatures; they do not make any sounds, so you never know if they are sick. They have to be monitored constantly and any unusual behavior must be consulted with a veterinarian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very often the first symptom is lack of appetite, and this is what happened to Pimpus. Additionally, his motor skills had dropped to very was close to zero. And the last symptom, which finally alarmed me, was that he was tilting his head to the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought that he possibly got Encepalitozoonoza.  In rabbits, these are nervous system disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A characteristic symptom is torticollis (turning the head to one side) and even though I vaccinate my sweeties for all diseases, I was very stressed when I took all of them to the doctor (all of the rabbits need to go to the doctor together).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Pimpu\u015b, it turned out that he had a damaged eardrum due to bacteria, but only a mild case so that the antibiotic is going to help (I hope). I have to give him an antibiotic twice a day and a pain reliever and probiotic once a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just try giving medication to a rabbit. It is madness. I wrap him like a baby in a towel. I hide his paws and immobilize him so that he cannot escape. When everything is ready, I put a tiny syringe (without the needle) into his mouth and press the plunger. I do this four times a day.<\/p>\n\n\n

I didn’t even know that rabbits could squeeze their mouths shut like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this has put me under a lot of stress and has made an impact on what I do. You might be thinking \u2013 well this woman is crazy. Maybe so, but I love my rabbits very much. I always care a lot for all of my pets, that’s just who I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going back to my screen. I hope that there will be more progress next week and I will be able to show you more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
