{"id":16724,"date":"2022-07-04T11:42:17","date_gmt":"2022-07-04T09:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/2022\/07\/04\/exhibition-patchwork-love-and-passion\/"},"modified":"2026-09-18T13:06:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T11:06:21","slug":"exhibition-patchwork-love-and-passion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/en\/2022\/07\/04\/exhibition-patchwork-love-and-passion\/","title":{"rendered":"Exhibition \u2013 \u201cPatchwork &#8211; Love and Passion"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/foresterum.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/foresterum.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5125\" style=\"object-fit:contain;width:500px;height:190px\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening of the \u201cPatchwork &#8211; Love and Passion\u201d exhibit by Sylwia Ignatowska (me) and Sylwia Haluch (Sylwia 2), which I\u2019ve written about before, took place on Friday, July 1st, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vernissage took place at the Cultural Center Foresterium, next to the beautiful ruins of the 18th  Century, Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites on the Mariemont hill in Zag\u00f3rz.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/foresterum1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/foresterum1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5126\" style=\"object-fit:contain;width:500px;height:375px\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is one of the few preserved fortified monasteries in Poland and is located in the former lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. You can read about its history <a href=\"https:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Klasztor_Karmelit%C3%B3w_bosych_w_Zag%C3%B3rzu\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/foresterum3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1333\" src=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/foresterum3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10621\" style=\"object-fit:contain;width:500px;height:667px\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seeing as I am a fan of all ruins, and by that I am not talking about collapsing cottages or barns, but bout castles, monasteries, and churches, this particular one made a great impression on me. I could go on and on for a long time writing about it, but I won\u2019t. You\u2019ll just have to see it for yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a
