I asked for prints to start playing with fractures after a long break, again. I labeled three images \u201cA\u201d, three images \u201cB\u201d, and three images \u201cC\u201d. My panels are 19\u201d high (48,5cm) by 13.5\u201d wide (13,5cm).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria1-300x140.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12341\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria1-300x140.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria1-768x357.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria1.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I stacked the three \u201cA\u201d images neatly on top of each other and cut them vertically, into 1.5\u201d strips, from left to right. It is very helpful to label them \u201cA1\u201d, \u201cA2\u201d, \u201cA3\u201d etc. I didn\u2019t do it and regretted it later, but my Guardian Angel was watching over me and, luckily, I took a picture right after I arranged the strips earlier.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"259\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria3-259x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12342\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria3-259x300.jpg 259w, https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria3.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 259px) 100vw, 259px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Next, the three panels from group \u201cB\u201d. I stacked them just like I did with the \u201cA\u201d panels and cut off a \u00bd\u201d strip from the left side and threw it away. With the last set, \u201cC\u201d, I began by removing a 1\u201d strip from the left side and threw it away. I arranged the strips in this order: \u201cA1\u201d, \u201cB1\u201d, \u201cC1\u201d, \u201cA2\u201d, \u201cB2\u201d, \u201cC2\u201d etc. and then sewed them together.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"149\" src=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria6-300x149.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12345\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria6-300x149.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria6-768x381.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sylaquiltartist.pl\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pulmeria6.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this stage of my work, I decided to remove a few strips because I came to the conclusion that they elongated the image unnecessarily. Just remember, you need to remove the same strip from each group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I used a 1\/8\u201d seam, to make it even I used painter\u2019s tape. Make sure you rotate all three panels in the same direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I arranged the stripes \u201cA1\u201d, \u201cB1\u201d, \u201cC1\u201d, \u201cA2\u201d, \u201cB2\u201d, \u201cC2\u201d etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since plumeria is called the flower of love, I decided to show lot of love to myself. Why?&nbsp;I ended up with over 700 tiny 1\u201d squares that needed to be sewn together piece by piece \u2013 an impossible task.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am not the queen patchwork, so I decided to ease myself and my household the mental anguish that this would bring and sewed them in bricks instead.&nbsp;&nbsp; I think it did not spoil the pattern.
