There comes a moment in autumn when snow begins to fall in the evenings, even though the trees have not yet lost their leaves. I love looking at my garden when this happens. Looking through the window, I can see tiny white snowflakes dancing in the air and settling on branches, blades of grass, and colorful leaves. It looks especially beautiful when it\u2019s lit up by a lamp. It\u2019s a view I\u2019ve always wanted to transfer onto fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, I didn\u2019t know how to do it. I never use paint or crayons in my projects, so it seemed impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything changed when I discovered a whitewash painting technique with the help of bleach. It gave me hope that I could create such an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, bleaching is very capricious. I was not sure if the arrangement of branches, grasses, and leaves on the fabric would give the right effect. Will the fabric I have chosen get the right color? I also wasn\u2019t sure how to create the snow falling effect, and I admit that I still do not know how I was able to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thrill of fear accompanied me until the first wash. Then there was only joy. The blech painting turned out exactly as I dreamed. Every day I look at it with admiration.<\/p>\n\n\n
