New Challenge

I thought that this week I would be telling you about the fate of my “open heart surgery patient” but my creative inspiration is missing, and I hope will be back soon. Also, my arm hurts again so I can not play on my long arm. So, I am sitting quietly, and I am hand sewing. Yes, yes, me hand sewing. I admit it surprises me to.

The project is big so it will take a while to finish. However, I have hoped that I will finish it and will not become another UFO (unfinished object). The beginning was difficult because the table was occupied by monsters. The fight was long and fierce.

Everything is mine.

Unfortunately, I cannot boast that I won.

I had to compromise.

My table and my scraps.

That is, it.

For this project we will need: multicolor fabrics, threads, embroidery thread, beads and freezer paper.

The pattern is divided into individual sections. Next, we draw the sections on freezer paper.

We cut it out. Let’s remember to do this in sections as well.

Next, I choose the fabric and glue on individual fragments to them.

Then I cut along the edges, adding allowance for the seam.

The additional lines that appear on the freezer paper are guidelines. They will help us to fit individual parts together

When everything is cut out and formed with the help of an iron, we get on stapling.

The work goes by slowly, but I hope the final effect is amazing.

I hope that next week I will tell you more about bigger developments.
