No progress in quilting

I was hoping that after I came back from Warsaw, I would show you my quilted sunflower “Carpe diem”, which I started to quilt some time ago, but I lost my creativity and motivation. The poor thing is waiting for better times, stretched out on the long arm.

Instead, I made covers for some porch chairs. Now, everyone will be more comfortable sitting on them. I also made a few extra pillows for the more demanding guests.

I finally got to tick this one off my long “to do list.”

I started the Quilter Chronicle / Quilter Planner. I have to admit I haven’t written any notes in it for almost a year and a half now. I have to make up for lost time. Unfortunately, I will not be using the planner that I designed just yet. I have to use the sheets that I prepared when I first started designing a new planner. I don't like throwing away unused sheets.

This time it won’t be a book, like my quilter diary. It will rather be more like a spiral notebook instead. My first diary became very heavy after adding many pictures, so now, I hope that the next one will be much lighter.

I already punched the holes.

I finally had the chance to use my hole puncher.

I also decided to strengthen the pages at the edges with thick paper so that they would not tear while in use.

I will just make a cover, put a spiral on and I will be able to start refilling.

I also started making a shawl. I bought some beautiful wool called “Frosty Land” from Kokonki.

I decided to use a pattern from Martika Grabowska called “Kalinka”. I have already made a piece that I can show you. I don’t know when the rest will be done. I will definitely show you guys my progress.

That would be all. Have a nice day.
