The new challenge, “pink hues,” perfectly matches an idea that I have had in my mind for a while now.
Just like every little girl, I love pink and all of it shades. Unfortunately, in my art quilts I am forced to use it at a minimum and quite often avoid it altogether. A lot of adults do not like this color. Or maybe they do but are ashamed to admit it.

Next, the fabric. And here I have a dilemma, which one to choose.
I glued some double-sided adhesive fleece into the fabric.
I put the fabric into my laser that I dreamed of for a while and finally got it 😊. After several attempts, the laser cuts out the inscription with perfect precision. This part of the project is ready.
I glue the pink fabric to the black one. I additionally decorate the black color with a glitter marker.
As a filling, I used a thin cotton fabric, and a pink fabric for the back. I quilted the whole piece on my long arm. As you can see, even small projects can be quilted on a long arm with a frame.
After quilting, I trimmed it down to the desired size and added a dense zig- zag to the edges.
At the shorter edges, I sew the snaps.
Now just add some beads and the project is ready.
It looks beautiful on my wrist.
