Hello everybody! Today I have amazing news to share with you all, it made me jump from joy. Let’s start from the beginning.
As you know, I have been working on my quilt for a while now, and it has been a real challenge for me. I have been quilting it for hours now, and I finally managed to finish it last Tuesday. And you know what? It’s gorgeous. I can’t take my eyes off it.
Now I’m left wondering if I should embellish it with some beads, to emphasize some of the details. On the one hand, I would like to decorate it even more, but on the other hand, I am afraid that it will be too much. This is a difficult decision; I have to think about it carefully because I do not want to spoil what is already perfect.
But that’s not all! I have even better news, which made my heartbeat like a crazy. I have submitted one of my quilts for the “Tribes” competition, hosted by the Carrefour European du Patchwork in Alsace. This is a prestigious competition that attracts quilts from all over the world, and the jury consists of experts in the field of patchwork. Guess what? My quilt has been selected for the finale! Yes, my quilt will go to France and will be displayed along with many other beautiful works.
This is a dream come true for me, I still cannot believe that it happened. I am so happy and proud of myself.
