I would like to share with you my impressions from the first meeting at the Folk University of Art and Crafts ULRA in Wola Sękowa, where I enrolled on a two-year course in artistic handicrafts. The classes cover a total of approximately 500 hours and are held once a month, for four days.
The Folk University in Wola Sękowa is an extraordinary place where people from different backgrounds, with different religious and political views meet. They are united by a common passion, learning and respect for another person. There are no divisions here, no hierarchy. What matters is the time spent together, the exchange of experiences and creation.
The first meeting was an amazing experience for me, I met so many interesting people. I learned about various handicraft techniques, such as embroidery, weaving, ceramics, and wickerwork. I saw beautiful works made by course participants and teachers. I tried my hand at several areas and discovered new creative possibilities.
And here are my first projects.

The beginnings are not overwhelming, but I hope that with each class my knowledge and skills will improve.
