Visit of a quilting group from the USA

On June 13, I had the great pleasure of welcoming a wonderful group of quilters and patchwork enthusiasts from the USA to my studio. The visit was organized by Janet McDonald, and the group consisted of 10 people. We had exchanged messages beforehand, but meeting in person turned out to be even more special than I imagined.

We spent the afternoon talking about techniques, materials, inspirations, and the differences between our quilting worlds. There was plenty of laughter, interesting questions, and a true exchange of experiences. I love these moments when art connects people from different parts of the world and suddenly we all speak the same language — the language of fabric, color, and passion.

I was happy to show them my creative space, talk about my processes, projects, and exhibitions, and hear about their own quilting journeys. It was a visit full of good energy, inspiration, and kindness.

Thank you to Janet and the entire group for this warm and beautiful presence. I hope our paths cross again someday.
