Quilt Fest Austria 2025 – A Celebration of Patchwork Joy

I’m still floating on a wave of emotion after the extraordinary experience that was Quilt Fest Austria 2025. A true celebration of textile art that will stay in my heart for a long time.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank Patchwork Gilde Austria for inviting me to take part in this exceptional event and for the warm welcome. Your hospitality, warmth and care made me feel like I was among friends and even borders and language barriers were not an obstacle. A special appreciation also goes to Bernina for sponsoring my journey — thanks to you, I was able to be part of this remarkable community of creators.

The exhibition was a true feast for the eyes and soul. The art-works presented by talented artists dazzled with creativity, technique, and depth of expression. Each quilt told its own story — sometimes quiet and subtle, sometimes vibrant and full of emotion. Walking among them felt like wandering through a patchwork gallery of dreams.

The atmosphere of the festival was incredible — filled with kindness, inspiration, and mutual support. Conversations, smiles, shared moments at booths and workshops — all of it created a spirit that’s hard to put into words. It was simply… wonderful.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this event. I returned home with a heart full of gratitude, a head full of ideas, and a soul illuminated by artistic light.
