Multi Unicorn -“Ihuarraquax”

I did it – I managed to finish quilting my unicorn, which I named “Ihuarraquax”. The name comes from Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher saga, of which I am a great fan.

Quilting is no easy art, especially when it comes to choosing the right threads. I used multicolour threads from Isacord, but unfortunately their colour range is limited. I had to carefully decide which thread suited each part of the image. I hope I succeeded in creating a harmonious composition.

But my work isn’t finished yet. Now I plan to add beads to the piece to give it more sparkle and life. I like when my artworks gain additional decorative elements. I intend to present the finished piece at the exhibition in the Samorządowe Centrum Kultury i Promocji Gminy Zabierzów – FILIA W KOCHANOWIE.

The vernissage will take place on 22 September at 7 PM. I warmly invite everyone interested in my work.
